On July 1, 2011, thousands of ducks will float down the Speed River at Riverside Park in a race to win lucky ticket holders great prizes during our Annual Duck Race.
Don’t miss out! Tickets are only $10 each and are available to purchase online.
The proceeds from the Duck Race will allow the Rotary Club to make a difference in the Guelph community. Two of the charities that will directly benefit from the proceeds are:
Hopewell Children’s Homes Inc provides permanent residential and respite supports and
recreational activities for people with developmental challenges. Established in 1983, Hopewell
is a not for profit registered charity governed by a community board of directors. Funded by
the ministries of Community and Social services, and Youth and Family Services, Hopewell also
enjoys broad support in the community from several partner agencies, service clubs, local
businesses, friends and volunteers
Hospice Guelph Wellington. Since 1980, Hospice Wellington has provided compassionate
care, emotional support and practical assistance to individuals and families facing a lifethreatening
illness, extending through bereavement.
In addition to these two lead charities, Rotary supports many other organizations in the
community and internationally. So please take the time to read over the following Corporate
Sponsor Program page and donate. Help us to make not only the Canada Day Duck Race at
Riverside Park a success, but also to help make a difference in the community you live in.
